Nike Softball Camps is thrilled to announce camp at St. Ambrose University. Join us in Davenport, Iowa and improve all aspects of your game. This camp gives softball players of all abilities the opportunity to continue playing softball this summer! The camp will cover all areas of softball including hitting, fielding, baserunning, and more. This is a great opportunity to learn skills, make new friends, and have fun!

Camp Director John Kelly
John Kelly was named the head softball coach at St. Ambrose in December 2022. In his first year with the Bees, Kelly led the team to 25 wins. Three players earned all-conference recognition, including Erica Ralfs, who also received NFCA First Team All-Region accolades.

Camp Details
Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2024 CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: July 22-25, 2024
- Age Group: 6-14
- Camp Type: Day (8-14 years old) | Half Day (6-8 years old)
- Day Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-3:00pm
- Half Day Camp Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00am-12:00pm
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.

- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are initially grouped by age and moved around accordingly based on skill level.
Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Nike Softball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.
TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT
If you have a group of campers registering for the same camp, each camper is eligible for a discount. Please have someone contact the US Sports Camps office at 1-800-645-3226 with the names of each camper in the group and we will create a unique discount code for your group. Campers may then register individually through the website at their convenience and apply the offer code during checkout. *Discount amount varies by program. Please call for details.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.
St. Vincent's Athletic Complex
Home of the St. Ambrose men's and women's soccer, softball, men's and women's lacrosse and JV football team, the St. Vincent's Athletic Complex is a recent addition among the SAU Athletic facilities.
Just blocks from campus, the fields opened for competition in 2016 and serve as a practice facility for other Fighting Bee programs.
The St. Vincent's Athletic Complex includes two synthetic turf all-purpose fields with spectator seating; a natural grass softball complex including spectator seating and press box; a concession/athletic training building; and a parking lot.
A new locker room and storage facility was added to the complex in the summer of 2018. The 11,664-square-foot building features two large locker rooms with a total of 195 lockers for SAU’s varsity and junior varsity football team, and will provide walkout access to the SVAC field that serves as varsity practice space and is home field for the junior varsity team.
The two-story building also features a fully equipped training room, a laundry room, and ample equipment storage space for other teams that use complex, including those from Assumption High School.
The locker rooms also serve as meeting and film study rooms for the football squads. The football coaching staff occupies a suite of six offices surrounding the locker rooms on the facility’s second floor.
St. Ambrose shares this facility with Assumption High School.
