Do you offer scholarships?
Unfortunately, no. We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.
Do you offer group discounts?
Yes we do! If you have 5 or more campers, we can offer $20 off per camper. If you have 10 or more campers we can offer $40 off per camper.
The only request we have is to send all applications in the mail together in one packet. This helps us allocate all the discounts appropriately, so we do not miss anyone. We cannot offer the discount if group packets do not come in together.
What are the differences between overnight, extended day, and day camp options?
For locations with Overnight options: The overnight option includes a 30 plus hour program, all meals, housing, and basketball activities. The extended day option (typically from 9AM. – 9PM.) includes a 30 hour plus program, lunch, dinner, and basketball activities. The day camp option (typically from 9AM-4PM.) includes a 20 plus hour program and lunch. May vary by location.
For locations with Day options only: The day camp option (typically 9AM-3/4PM) includes 20 plus hour program and does not include lunch. May vary by location.
The first and last day hours of camp may vary. Please see specific camp web page for more details.
When will I receive my registration packet?
Registration packets will be emailed out the first week in May. Registration packets include information on when to arrive to camp, what to bring, directions, health forms, etc. Once available, packets can also be downloaded at our website, at the following link.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
Once registered, if you have to cancel for any reason, we will issue you a camp voucher for all camp fees paid, valid through 2014, for any Nike Basketball Camp. Your camp voucher is also transferable to any family member. Cash refunds will be given only with the purchase of Cancellation Protection.
What is the optional Cancellation Protection fee?
The Cancellation Protection fee can be purchased for $35 per camp session, and is the only way to receive a cash refund in the event of a cancellation. If you cancel by your Camp Tuition “balance due” date, you will receive a refund of all Camp Tuition payments made. If you cancel after your Camp Tuition “balance due” date, you will receive a camp credit good for any Nike Basketball Camp (see above) through 2013.
Are you hiring any coaches for your camps?
Our camp directors hire and train their staff members directly, and we do not have any staff openings at this time.
If my son/daughter is attending an Overnight Camp, what will the dorm arrangements be like?
When a camper signs up for an overnight camp, they are placed in a typical college dormitory in a double room. We room the campers up with their roommate request. If that cannot be accommodated, or you do not have a specific request, you will be placed with another camper your same age. Each overnight camp is monitored and supervised in the dorms by our camp staff.
Is transportation to and from the camp available?
Transportation to and from camp locations is not available.
Do you have services for early drop-off or late pick-up?
We do not offer early drop-off or late pick up services.
Are the basketball camps a good fit for all levels of players? How will they be broken up on the court?
Our basketball camps welcome all ability levels unless otherwise indicated. On the first day of camp, campers will be evaluated and then placed into groups according to their age and ability. Experienced and non-experienced campers alike can enjoy and thrive at Nike Basketball Camps.
