Camp Director
Lloyd Fobi
Lloyd Fobi recently completed his first year as the head coach of the Willamette University men’s soccer team. Prior to arriving at Willamette, Fobi was an assistant men’s soccer coach at nearby Corban University for a year and a half. He also has been a coach with the Oregon Olympic Development Program.
Willamette finished the 2011 season with a 6-9-2 overall record, including 5-8-1 in the Northwest Conference. The Bearcats won three more games overall and four more conference games than the previous year. Highlighting the schedule was a 2-1 win over eventual NWC champion Pacific Lutheran University. It was one of only two losses for PLU in conference play.
Read Full BioAs a college player, Fobi competed for the Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore. He played on two teams that were nationally ranked (2003, 2005) and helped the Beavers qualify for the NCAA Tournament in 2003. Fobi hopes to continue the progress Willamette has made in recent years, while adding his own approach to the game. He also has coached with the Oregon Olympic Development Program.

Great Theory Work
"I liked the way my son was able to have classroom instructional time that gave players a chance to watch soccer matches and see techniques and strategies used by other players. It's nice to mix the theory with the actual game."
