At NIKE Soccer Camps, our goal is to stimulate a love for the game in young athletes by showing them how to accelerate their own progress and success. By partnering with NIKE, our title sponsor, and working with th country’s best coaches, we are able to offer an unforgettable growth experience no matter what your age or skill level.
Adelphi Womens Soccer Camp is directed and staffed by both the Adelphi Womens Coaches and its current players. Former and current professional coaches and players will also be highlighted as camp instructors.

Located near Long Island’s parks and beaches, the 75-acre Adelphi University campus is only 30 minutes from New York City, offering a safe, suburban campus environment for our camp.
Meet your coaching staffChris Armas
A 1994 graduate of Adelphi University, Chris Armas was selected in the 1st Round of the Inaugural MLS Draft in 1996. He went on to play in the MLS for 12 years with the LA Galaxy and Chicago Fire, before completing his professional career as an Assistant Coach in Chicago.
During his illustrious career he played 66 times for the USA National Team and was part of 2 World Cup Teams, won 1 MLS Championship and 4 US Open Cup Championships, participated in 7 MLS All-Star games, was selected to 5 MLS Best 11 Teams and was named the 2000 US Soccer Player of the Year.
After retiring Chris returned home to Long Island and taught Physical Education at his former High School St. Anthony’s, as well as working with local soccer clubs in Albertson, Floral Park and Massapequa. On July 13, 2011 he was named Head Women’s Soccer Coach at Adelphi University. In his first year in the role he guided the Panthers to an 8-8-1 record and an appearance in the NE10 Conference Tournament.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE
Overnight Campers: Professional coaching and instruction, all meals, housing, supervision and evening activities.
Extended Day Campers (varies with location) 9am-9pm: Professional coaching and instruction, lunch, dinner and evening activities.
SESSION INFORMATION
Check-in: Registration is on July 26th at 9:00am. Soccer instruction begins immediately following. Lunch is the first meal.
Check-out: Graduation is at the fields at 11:30am. Parents are invited to attend. Check out to follow from the dorms.
