The Nike Soccer Camp at Francis Parker is back for another exciting week of intensive soccer training. The program is designed for players of all ages and abilities, and will inspire and motivate you to take your game to the next level!

At Nike Soccer Camps, our mission is to familiarize you with the wide array of skills and techniques needed to improve your overall game. We start you on the right path; getting rid of bad habits while creating new, good habits that will stay with you forever.

Our professional staff consists of master teachers whose demonstrations include demanding instruction, step-by-step clarification, and playful joking to bring out the most sensitive technical points for you to grasp and imitate.

Camp Director

Javier Gonzalez

With an intense passion for soccer and a deep devotion to improving the skills of all players, Gonzalez has served as the director for both the boy’s and girl’s programs at University City High School.

Gonzalez has over 35 years of international playing experience in the US, Mexico and Spain.  Coach Javier played against World Cup players such as Hugo Sanchez, Leonardo Cuellar, Kuz Deyna, Manuel Manzo and Gustavo Moscoso, to mention a few.

In the 1980s, Gonzalez served as assistant coach for Lonardo Cuellar (currently Mexican national women’s coach). Gonzalez played for The San Diego Sockers’ reserve team under Coach Hubert Vogelsinger, founder of the Vogelsinger Soccer Academy.  He has served as a master coach for the Vogelsinger Soccer Academy since 1989.

Equipment Needed:  Soccer cleats, shin guards, goalies must bring own equipment, etc

Sample Daily Schedule

  • 9:00-9:15am Stretching
  • 9:20-9:40am Warm up games
  • 9:45-10:30am Technical session
  • 10:35-11:20am Tactical session
  • 11:25-12:10pm Small sided games
  • 12:15-12-25pm Cool down
  • 12:30-1:00pm Lunch break
  • 1:00-1:15pm Stretching
  • 1:15-1:25pm Warm up games
  • 1:25-2:00pm Dribbling
  • 2:00-2:50pm Small sided games
  • 2:50-3:00pm Cool down

Campers will train on the turf field at the Francis Parker School.


Team Discount: If five or more campers register together, as a group by mail or fax, each camper will receive a $25 discount. Click “Get Brochure” above and print the application.
