In the past four seasons, Goucher also placed eight players on All-Landmark Conference Women's Soccer Team and three on NSCAA All-Region squad. In addition, Korba coached the Landmark Conference's Rookie of the Year in 2011.

Korba joined Goucher's coaching staff prior to the 2005 season and served as head coach in a part-time capacity for two years. In 2007, she became the first full-time head coach in the program’s 25-year history.

Korba began her coaching career in 2001 as the assistant coach at Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. After one year as the assistant, Korba was elevated to head coach in the 2002 season and guided the Thoroughbreds to their first winning record in six years. After leaving Skidmore in 2002, Korba worked for both the NY/NJ Metrostars and DC United of the MLS, and she also spent two years as the head soccer coach at The Madeira School in McLean, Va. During that time Korba was also an assistant coach with the U-18 Washington Freedom Academy program.

Korba was a standout soccer player at her alma mater, Hobart and William Smith College where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in 2000. She competed in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship all four years of her career, including being a starting forward on the 1997 team that finished as national runner-up. Over her four-year playing career, Korba collected numerous awards including all-conference, all-state, and NSCAA all-region. After an impressive senior season at William Smith, Korba was named an NSCAA Division III All-American as well as the New York State Player of the Year, and the UCAA Conference Player of the Year.

During the summers of 2003 and 2004 Korba played as a forward in the semi-pro WPSL as a member of the Maryland Pride. She then took over the reign of head coach for the Pride in the summer of 2006 and served in that capacity for one year. Korba is currently the head coach for the U-17 team in the Maryland State Olympic Development Program.

Intensified enthusiasm for the game

First time at overnight camp for both daughters, but any trepidation was put to rest when the first words from both of their mouths were -' Please sign us up for next year!'. Moreover, their enthusiasm for the game intensified with both asking me to practice daily since this camp. Highly recommended and thinking of sending my entire team next year.

Safe location

Location & structure added to overall security of the camp - as a parent absolutely loved that aspect of it.  It is a great way to have fun and make a lot of new friends - as a camper it is definitely a camp to continuously, and is a get-a-way from parents.

Great experience

My 12 year old daughter had a wonderful week at your camp at Goucher College.  She made some great friends, loved her counselors and got a lot of instruction on how to improve her soccer game.  She says it was the best week of her summer vacation!

Total Camp Experience

My daughter has come to Nike camp for four summers. She has learned more than just soccer skills, including personal respponsibility, proper nutrition and food choices, social skills, and more. Each year she grows as a player and a person and the staff has been responsive, nurturing off the field and tough on the field. Thank you for providing a total soccer camp experience!

Helpful feedback

Our daughter experienced an intense four day training at the Nike Soccer Camp. She met some of her new classmates she will join at Goucher this fall. She said the week was challenging & rewarding! She especially found the feedback from goalie training to be helpful. As a parent of a camper, I would recommend Nike Soccer Camp to others!
