Monica McDonald
Fifth-year head coach Monica McDonald has recently led the Cardinals to the two best seasons in program history.
McDonald guided Otterbein to its best record ever in 2009, going 24-9 en route to making the OAC Tournament semi-finals. The team also enjoyed the best start to a season of any Cardinal team, beginning the fall campaign at 11-0.
She then topped the mark in 2010 as the Lady Cardinals played to a 26-7 record, making the NCAA Tournament for the first time. The team bowed out to eventual national champion Calvin (MI) in its opening round match.
Read Full BioMcDonald came to Otterbein in 2007 from Mount Union College, where she served as assistant volleyball coach. She also assisted in men’s and women’s track and field.
A 2005 graduate of Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, she was a two-time All-America outside hitter at her alma mater, helping lead the Tigers into the NCAA Division III Tournament four times, including two advancements into the Elite Eight. She majored in business management with a minor in sociology.
While at Mount Union, McDonald took part in a volleyball program that improved from 15-16 in 2005 to 22-10 in 2006.
In addition to her coaching at Mount Union, McDonald has coached several club volleyball teams, including stints as head coach for a Mid Ohio club team for 15-year-olds (2006), and a Midwest Elite open team for 16-year-olds (2005).

Camp runs from 9am-4pm daily.
Campers may purchase a Nike volleyball, the official volleyball of US Sports Camps, for $25. Volleyballs are provided for each camper to use during the session and purchasing one is optional.

Check-out: Graduation is Thursday, June 28th at from 3:30 at the Rike Center
***NOTE: Camp ends promptly at 4:00pm each day. There is NO SUPERVISION before 9:00am and after 4:00pm. Please be on time to pick up your camper.
