This passion began at age 17 when, as a basketball player herself, she organized basketball training camps for at-risk youth in her community. In 2018 at the age of 24, Poole graduated from The College of Saint Elizabeth in Morristown, NJ with a degree in English. The College’s commitment was to provide service learning, where she expanded her vision and decided to put her experience to good use back in her hometown. Poole has always had a love for sports which led to a successful four years of NCAA scholastic college women's basketball. Soon after graduating with her bachelor's degree Poole continued for a time with the Women's American Basketball Association, WABA playing semi professionally. While doing so she opened her own fitness studio which has been providing a safe and healthy location for women and youth to exercise. Along the way she has gained leadership skills that have sharpened her love for organizing community events and coaching youth sports teams. Jasmine is also a youth sports coach for the military families on McGuire Air Force Base. Jasmine expanded her sports career joining a tackle womens football league WNFC and now plays for the Philadelphia Phantomz as a defensive strong safety.
Jasmine's story as a young woman in sports has led her to organize girls sports camps along with publishing six books, “Voice Beneath The Surface.” After having sold over two hundred books she decided to write an educational impacting and fun children's book series. By writing such impactful children's books she has inspired hundreds of youth all across the world through her fun and imaginative storytelling. Jasmine community nonprofit organization: JP ELITE began as just a small dream with four tenagers and has grown to spread positivity to other communities all around the world. Now Jasmine has led nearly 40 youth camps, while organizing dozens of community outreach health clinics and sporting events to keep youth active. Jasmine has partnered with local and national sports programs for nearly a decade to host sports camps that encourage adolescent health and wellness. Jasmine prides herself on her commitment to give back to all children, especially young girls who tend to not receive as many opportunities to play all sports. Her ultimate goal is to continue educating, serving and strengthening every community in need and sharing the love of Jesus to all children around the world with the help of sports. Poole says, “My life is solely driven to be the role model I needed growing up."
