    Coach Hairston brings a wealth of experience and a passion for developing athletes both on and off the field. His coaching journey began after a successful professional indoor football career with the New England Surge (CIFL) in 2007 and 2008.

    Transitioning to coaching, he led the Connecticut Bearcats, a minor league football team in the NEFL, to back-to-back league championships in 2010 and 2011 as their head coach.

    Driven by a desire to nurture young talent, Coach Hairston founded an athlete development program in 2010, dedicated to preparing male and female athletes aged 15-21 for the rigors of competitive sports. For ten years, this program focused on enhancing speed, agility, and sport-specific skills. He further expanded his reach by creating the Peak Performance online coaching program, designed to cultivate a stronger mindset and mental toughness in athletes aged 13-21.

    As a performance coach and personal trainer, Coach Hairston combines his practical experience with a deep understanding of athletic development. He is a dedicated father of two sons, ages 15 and 10.

A sought-after speaker, he has addressed global leaders at the World Economic Forum, using sports and resilience to empower the next generation.

He is passionate about developing linemen by emphasizing proper technique, strength, accountability, and teamwork.

    Dedicated to athlete development both on and off the field, Coach Cruz-Pina strives to create a positive, hard-working environment that helps young athletes build confidence, character, and a strong love for football.

Camp Details

Nike Contact Football Camps feature full contact drills and scrimmages. At camp, "contact" is introduced in a slow, gradual progression before any actual "contact" is initiated. Campers are divided according to age, weight, and ability.

2026 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION

  • Dates: July 6-10, 2026
  • Age Groups: 10-13 (entering 5th-8th grade) | 14-18 (entering 9th-12th grade)
  • Gender: Boys
  • Camp Types: Day
  • Schedule: 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday-Friday
  • Check-In: 30 minutes prior to camp start time
  • Meals: Lunch is not included. Campers may bring their own healthy lunch, water bottle, and snacks.
  • Parking: Stadium parking entrance is on corner of Locust St. and Robert Holcomb Way

Campers must bring own equipment

  • Daily Football Instruction
  • Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours

INSTRUCTION & FACILITY

  • Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio

  • Facility: Outdoor Fields. Indoor facilities are available during inclement weather conditions.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. Please note that US Sports Camps does NOT provide equipment and is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

  • Small gym bag/backpack

  • Warm-up jacket

  • Cleats (NO metal-tip cleats) & sneakers

  • Jersey for shoulder pads

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRAVEL

Nike Football Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

TEAM/GROUP DISCOUNT

If you have a team or group of 5 or more campers registering for the same camp, each camper may be eligible for a discount. To receive the group discount, please have someone email US Sports Camps at [email protected] with the following information: Camp name, list of camper names, and the number of campers. We will respond with a unique discount code for everyone in the group to use during online registration. *Note: Discount amounts vary by program, so please reach out for more details.
