Nike Junior Golf Camps
Join us for our junior golf camps in central Michigan located just minutes from Lansing. Renowned PGA Professional, Jason Guss, and his staff look forward to a great week of instruction and course play.
FULL DAY CAMPS
Our full day camps are a wonderful way for our campers to enjoy a full day of golf. Each day starts with proper warm up, followed by three hours of instruction on all facets of the game. We break for lunch after morning instruction before heading out for course play. On the golf course, students work on course management and the shots they learned earlier in the day. Full Day Camps run from 9:00am - 4:00pm each day.
HALF DAY CAMPS
Our Half Day camps are designed to pique the interest of potential new golfers and offer experienced golfers the instruction they need to improve. Each day starts with proper warm up stretches and exercises, followed by three hours of small group instruction. Half Day Camps run from 9:00am - 12:00pm each day. Lunch is NOT included.
- Small group instruction with low student/teacher ratio from experienced teaching professionals
- Three hours of morning instruction covering putting, chipping, pitching, and full swing

Camp Director Jason Guss
Jason Guss is one of the brightest and most talented young instructors anywhere. Jason was recently voted 2017 Best Teacher in Michigan by Golf Digest.View Jason Guss's Bio ⟩
He was named Golf Digest's list of best instructors in the state of Michigan in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011, 2013. Guss was also voted by that same magazine as one of the top 20 teachers in America under the age of 40. Jason was also named the Northern Michigan Teacher of the Year for 2009 and 2011. For the past thirteen years Jason has been fortunate enough to be around some of the top players in the world. He accompanied top five instructor Rick Smith, while he coached such players as Phil Mickelson, Rocco Mediate, Lee Janzen, and Jerry Kelly to name a few. He has also caddied for Hall of Fame Golfers Arnold Palmer and Hale Irwin. With this experience he has been able to coach some of his own PGA and LPGA players.
Coach Chris Mory
Chris was born and raised in Haslett, MI. Growing up in Haslett Chris learned the game of golf from his father and PGA Professional Bill Mory. Chris was recently listed on the Best Teachers in Michigan list by Golf Digest.View Chris Mory's Bio ⟩
Chris was born and raised in Haslett, MI. Growing up in Haslett Chris learned the game of golf from his father and PGA Professional Bill Mory. From 2004-2008 Chris played for his father on the Haslett High School Golf Team. While at Haslett Chris earned All State Honors his final three seasons, was named Lansing State Journal Player of the Year twice and was an integral part of a team state championship in 2006. After High School Chris went on be a four-year varsity letter winner and two-year captain on Michigan State University’s Men’s Golf team. While in East Lansing he was twice named a GCAA All American Scholar and finished his career at Michigan State with 15 top-twenty, 7 top-tens and 4 top-five finishes; including a top five finish at the 2011 Big Ten Championship. After Graduating from Michigan State in 2012 with a Marketing Degree Chris turned professional. He spent the last two years playing professionally through out the Midwest and in Florida during which Chris has posted 11 top-ten finishes.
Chris has now joined the Golf Performance Staff at the Jason Guss Golf Academy. Chris is bringing with him knowledge and experience that will help his students learn, improve, get more enjoyment out of the game of golf.
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17 (varies by program type). The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. At Nike Junior Golf Camps we accommodate all skill levels and, upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week.Show Less See More Camp Details
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the spring.

- 9:00am Instruction - skills and fundamentals; grip, stance, posture, pitching, putting, bunker play and full swing
- Noon Lunch (Included in Full Day Camp price. Half Day campers depart)
- 1:00pm Course play with staff supervision
