Golf finally became his passion when he entered college and started studying the effects that exercise has on athletic performance. His passion for the human body and healthy lifestyles led him to become a certified personal trainer through the NFPT and eventually earn his bachelors degree in Kinesiology from San Jose State University.

I began playing golf at the age of 16, went on to become MVP on the Oceanside High School Golf Team and Captain in 2011 & 2012. While attending UCSC, I played for three years on the Golf Team and assisted for over six years with the Junior Golf Camps and Tournaments at Rancho Carlsbad Golf Club.
I believe there is so much more to Golf than teaching kids how to swing the golf club. It's the life skills of perseverance and respect, for example, that I enjoy sharing with the Juniors- skills in both Golf and in life that will take them far. I never had the opportunity to learn golf as a child, but I am now grateful for the chance to introduce this most challenging and rewarding game to Juniors and to share my passion for it with them as well. If given the chance, Golf can be life changing. To be part of that experience with a Junior Golfer is priceless.
This program is designed for boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 17 (varies by program type). The staff is on hand to provide campers with top quality instruction each day. Camp ReviewsSubmit a review
"My daughter has had multiple lessons with Kim Stevens. Kim is excellent in detecting the tiniest flaws that affect her swing, and even better explaining to the kid in their lingo, and fixing them. My daughter's game has improved tremendously since we met Kim. Her summer camps are a blast as well! On mornings when it was a struggle to wake my child up, on hearing that she has the option to skip camp, she jumps out of bed to go to camp! That says ALOT! We highly recommend Kim Stevens for anyone looking for a great coach!!"

"Kim Stevens is an amazing camp director. She shared a very helpful Youtube video before the camp sessions started to make sure that the forms were filled out properly and also to inform the campers and parents about the upcoming camp days. She also answered emails very promptly. Her staff is also very knowledgable, helpful and totally great with kids. I can highly recommend the Shoreline Golf Camp. Thank you!"
