Woerner Field
Beginning with 2004 season, Woerner Field has been home to Dayton baseball and is among the best baseball facilities in the Midwest.
Dayton began play at the field in 2004 and won 11 games at their new home next to UD Arena along I-75. The Flyers used that momentum heading into the next season to win a team-record 19 home games in 2005, which would set the tone that Woerner Field is a place to be reckoned with for opposing teams. In 2009, Dayton went 22-4 at Woerner Field en route to the team's first-ever Atlantic 10 Conference regular season title, which still stands as a record for most wins at home for a single season in Flyers history. Overall, the Flyers boast a record of 216-186 (.537) at Woerner Field.
Dayton fans also benefit from the $4 million facility, which is complete with a press box, covered chair back seating behind home plate, concessions and restrooms. Woerner Field provides the ultimate gameday atmosphere for fans to support the Flyers.
The team also takes advantage of a recently upgraded indoor hitting/pitching facility with team rooms located along the right field line that can be used throughout the year. The hitting facility was recently re-done during the 2017 offseason to include graphics across the facility to ensure that Dayton Baseball's facilities stay state-of-the-art for its student athletes and provide them with everything that they need
