The Players Way Summer Series powered by US Sports Camps is a high-energy, four-day baseball development experience designed to help young athletes refine their skills, compete, and grow their love for the game. Developed by top baseball minds, this camp runs from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM daily, with registration on the first day at 8:00 AM. Each session includes position-specific training, offensive and defensive skill work, and competition-based drills, culminating in an exciting Baseball 5 tournament on the final day.
This camp is perfect for players of all skill level looking to improve their game in a fun, competitive environment while learning from former pro players and expert instructors.

Camp Director Nick Goody
Nick Goody is a former professional baseball pitcher who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the New York Yankees, Cleveland Guardians (formerly Indians), and Texas Rangers. Born on July 6, 1991, in Orlando, Florida, Goody attended Louisiana State University (LSU), where he played college baseball and established himself as a dominant relief pitcher.

Instruction will focus primarily on hitting, fielding, base-running, and game situations. You can expect high demand for these first come first serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early.

2025 SUMMER CAMP INFORMATION
- Dates: June 16-19, 2025
- Age Group: 9-13
- Camp Type: General Skills - Day Camp
- Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 9:00AM-3:00PM
- Check-In: Begins 30 minutes prior to the camp start time.
- Meals: Lunch is not provided. Please bring a snack/lunch to camp each day.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
- Receive pro-level instruction and progression-based drills to develop fundamentals, refine mechanics, and build confidence in both defense and offense.
- Comprehensive training in defensive and offensive skills, with live competition scenarios.
- Learn and compete in Baseball 5, a fast-paced, high-energy version of baseball, and showcase your skills in the Baseball 5 Tournament for awards and recognition.
WHAT IS BASEBALL 5?
- Fast-paced, small-sided version of baseball
- Emphasizes quick reflexes, agility, and game awareness
- Played without a bat and glove
- Helps athletes improve reaction time, hand-eye coordination, and strategic thinking
- Offers a dynamic and competitive format while keeping the game fun
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Daily Baseball Instruction
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours
- Players Way Hat and Shirt
INSTRUCTION & FACILITY
Ratio: 1:10 staff to camper ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by ability, age, and experience, per the Director's discretion.
Facility: Outdoor Facility – Indoor Facility. Both will be utilized. Outdoor turf half field, outdoor turf cages, and indoor hitting facility, indoor performance space.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
TRAVEL
Players Way Baseball Camps does not provide transportation from airports, train stations or bus depots. If you have a child flying to camp, please arrange a shuttle or taxi service.

- 9:00 AM Check-In & Welcome - Get your Players Way swag and meet your coaches!
- Warm-Up & Fundamental Training - Get ready to move! Dynamic warm-ups and foundational drills to start the day.
- Defensive Skill Work - Position-specific drills to sharpen fielding, throwing, and reaction skills.
- 12:00 PM Lunch Break - Athletes are to bring their own lunch - Refuel and recharge before diving into the afternoon session.
- Offensive Training - Swing mechanics, approach, and game-scenario hitting to build confidence at the plate.
- Baseball 5 Training & Game Play - Learn the fast-paced game of Baseball 5 and how it improves agility and reaction time
- Wrap-Up & Dismissal - Coaches provide daily feedback and preview the next day’s focus.
- Final Day: Baseball 5 Tournament & Awards Ceremony Compete in the Baseball 5 Tournament and earn awards for top performances throughout camp!
