ULTIMATE CHAMPIONS PHILOSOPHY
In order to be successful there has to be a strong foundation. If a builder is building a house, he must have a strong foundation in order for the house to stand properly over time. Well, the same is for basketball. There must be a strong foundation in fundamentals for continuous individual improvement. In addition to an emphasis on skill development, camp will also aim to improve each players athleticism and explosiveness.
Nike Versa Tack Basketballs can be purchased during registration for $25. Players can choose between a size 6 (28.5", standard girls) or size 7 (29.5", standard boys) ball, which will be passed out on the last day of camp. Please note that it is not required to bring a basketball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction.
Upon arrival, all participants are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. In addition, campers will be evaluated and then split up into smaller groups according to age and ability. Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony! Departure immediately following.
Transportation is not provided by the camp to or from any airports. If you are flying to or from camp, we recommend using an airport shuttle service. Please schedule flights as close as you can to the check-in times on the first day and check-out times on the last day.
A detailed camper information packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the Spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp.
We cannot offer scholarships due to NCAA regulations. Our affiliation with NCAA coaches and schools puts us in a position where any scholarship money can be seen as an inducement to a future collegiate athlete. This puts our coaches and our host universities in jeopardy of damaging their status with the NCAA and incurring penalties at the hands of their organizing body.

July 1, 2018: We loved the friendly staff, the good vibes and great energy. You could see it as soon as you walked in. Great camp.

Coaches were Excellent!
June 30, 2018: This was the first camp I felt comfortable leaving Colton. He is autistic high-functioning so he has some issues with unfamiliar surroundings and it was a proud moment for me to see him interacting with others and even met a friend. This camp and we have been to many camps, this was the best ever and well-run! Not sure what improvements you would need, this was very well organized and all coaches were excellent!
— Martha M., Parent

June 29, 2018: I loved it when the coaches did three point and half court shots! So much fun!
— Mariela G., Camper
June 29, 2018: My son enjoyed learning from coaches from a different area. The evaluations were a great way for the campers to see areas of strength and weakness. We have never been to a camp where that was done. Loved the feedback. As a parent, I was extremely impressed with how organized the camp was and how professional the coaches were.

It was great!
June 23, 2017: My favorite part was Sabina's excitement coming home. She worked hard, improved her dribbling, learned proper technique and has taught me new things. Sabina learned so many new skills. It was great!
— Sabina P., Parent

Put the technique into practice
June 22, 2017: My favorite part was the games we got to play to put the technique into practice. As parents we were very happy to see our children's skills and confidence built up. We can definitely see improvements in both our children from day one to end of camp. Thank you for coming down to Harlingen.
