Join Stanford Men's Lacrosse Head Coach, Paul Jepsen, and his staff in Palo Alto this fall and winter to take your game to the next level! Located 30 minutes south of San Francisco, this competitive program is designed for experienced high schoolers and youth players (ages 6-18) looking to sharpen their skills. The camp also includes an informational session designed to educate high school players on college recruiting and the college application process.
All facets of the game will be covered, ranging from stick skills, position play and team concepts. Campers will also be able to incorporate these skills into the daily game play. Here are some of the key concepts that will be covered:
- Attack/Middies: Dodging, decision making, deception, shooting, 2-man game.
- Defense: Posture, approach, footwork, physicality, communication, and anticipation.
- Goalies: Receive personalized training tailored to enhance individual techniques along with instruction in game-like scenarios. Goalies actively participate in shooting drills and scrimmages, ensuring a well-rounded development experience.
This camp is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend that you choose a camp that fits your particular skills and level of development.

Camp Director Paul Jepsen
Paul Jepsen is in his fifth season as the head coach of Stanford Men's Lacrosse. Paul is a 2004 graduate of Duke University where he was a three-year starter on defense and co-captain during his senior year. He led the Blue Devils to consecutive ACC Championship Titles in 2001 and 2002.

Assistant Coach Tyler Simmons
Tyler Simmons is an assistant coach for the men's lacrosse team at Stanford University. Tyler played attack and midfield at the University of Denver for the hall of fame coach Bill Tierney, making two final fours. He is a local product from Redwood HS scoring over 300 points in his high school career.

You can expect a high demand for these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early. Campers train each day at the El Camino Field field in Palo Alto.

- Dates: November 25-26 (Monday-Tuesday) & January 4-5 (Saturday-Sunday)

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
- Reversible Jersey & Prizes: Campers will receive a Nike Lacrosse Reversible Jersey and prizes.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the director's discretion.
- Equipment Needed: Please bring your helmet, mouthpiece, cleats, lacrosse stick, gloves, and pads.
- Facility: El Camino Field & Hillview Middle School - Turf Field
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

- 8:30-9:00am: Check In
- 9:00am: Full camp stretch and strengthen - Shoulder, wrist and back exercises to increase fundamental passing, shooting, ground ball and defensive checking abilities
- 9:15-10:30am: Fundamental stick work, ball movement, shooting; instructed to increase lacrosse IQ for game situations
- 10:30-11:30am: Position specific training: Attack, Midfield, Defense, Face-offs, Goalies
- 11:30-12:00pm: Lunch
- 12:00-1:00pm: Scripted and Structured game situations, made to simulate specific aspects of live-game play, created for experience and immediate feedback from coaches
- 1:00-2:00pm: Game
- 2:00-3:00pm: Position specific training: Attack, Midfield, Defense, Face-offs, Goalies- created to lead into the next day’s lacrosse IQ concepts that will be covered.
