Come join Head Swimming Coach, Kyle Hunt, this winter at the Nike Swim Clinic at Nebraska Wesleyan University, located in Lincoln. Our goal is to provide each swimmer with a fun, exciting and enthusiastic environment to train in.
Coach Hunt is conducting a distinguished winter clinic, giving campers plenty of opportunity to improve their distance swimming. Through innovative training methods, campers will take part in dynamic workouts aimed at enhancing their skills and achieving personal bests.
Nike Swim Clinic at Nebraska Wesleyan University is open to any and all entrants. For your safety and benefit, we recommend you have competitive swimming experience (e.g. U.S.S. age group, national qualifiers, high school swimmers, or summer league swimmers) and can swim at least 50 meters in all four competitive strokes: fly, back, breast and freestyle.

Camp Director Kyle Hunt
Kyle Hunt was named the men's and women's swimming head coach in May 2021 after he spent the 2020-2021 season as the interim head coach and the 2019-2020 season as an assistant coach for Nebraska Wesleyan. During the past two seasons, Hunt was instrumental in practice planning, training and recruiting which helped the Prairie Wolves break numerous pool and school records.

You can expect a high demand on these first-come-first-serve camper spots, so please be sure to register early. This winter, Nebraska Wesleyan University is offering a one-day clinic for ages 12-18. Swimmers should have prior competitive experience before enrolling in this clinic.

- Program: The Distance Clinic is tailored for swimmers aiming to excel in long-distance events by focusing on endurance, pacing strategies, and efficient energy management. Participants will receive personalized feedback and develop techniques to enhance their stamina and performance in longer races.

There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to drop off and pick up your child on time.
MEALS
Lunch will be not be provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning training session
- Supervision: Campers are supervised by staff during camp hours.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Ratio: 1:10 staff-to-camper ratio
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience.
- Equipment Needed: Please bring your water swimsuit, swim cap, googles and towel(s)
- Facility: Weary Natatorium
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

DISCOUNTS AVAILABLE
TEAM DISCOUNT: If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $10 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
Weary Natatorium
Located within the Weary Center adjacent to Knight Fieldhouse, the Weary Natatorium houses the competitive pool for the Nebraska Wesleyan women's and men's swim programs. The pool was renovated when NWU added swimming as a varsity sport before the 2014-15 school year.

How are swimmers grouped at camp?
Upon arrival at camp, campers are placed in groups with other swimmers having similar abilities and goals. Our camp staff will do their best to accommodate your needs, keeping in consideration your experience and desire to improve.
