    Great camp overall

2022: Max had an amazing week - really liked the counselors and the location. Perfect weather for running. It was not as competitive as I'd expected but was just what he wanted! Keep kids busy enough with hiking/meetings and he loved playing beach volleyball every night. Said food was solid. All in all met great kids- ran well- and plans to go back

    Connected with the coach

Kristen enjoyed the camp immensely. She really connected with Coach Mosqueda and felt she was getting quality feedback to help her improve her running form. In the past she has been putting in lots of miles without getting the proper coaching to improve her form and efficiency. She made lots of friends and genuinely had an incredible experience.

    Great environment

Olivia is a new runner. The camp exposed her to what other, more experienced runners are doing to prepare, improve, and maintain their fitness. It also gave her time to grow independently away from her parents in a great environment. Olivia had an equally great time both working out and bonding with other campers off the track and trails.

I will definitely be returning next summer!

It was an amazing experience and I will definitely be returning next summer! They teach us the mental aspects of running and how to improve ourselves. It was a good experience and I feel like I got a really good workout from it. This camp really gives insight into why people run and it didn't just show us the types of training to do, but it showed us why and how. The relaxation and goal setting were both done well. It got me to have remember how to relax during a stressful situation and to set more goals for the future. Overall, this camp nails the mental aspects of running more than any camp that I know of.

I was happy to be able to provide this experience for my grandson.

Meeting all of the great participants from all over the country/world. Learned a lot of tips to improve running like the leg quiver concept. Many well organized activities that were both fun and important to improve running. One thing I think is special is that he came home and wanted a flip chart( had to have the chart) so he could teach his parents what you taught them. Each night they have a learning/teaching session and he is excited to share what all he learned with them. Not only does this bring it closer to them it reinforces what he was taught. Loved the head coach and counselors. I was happy to be able to provide this experience for my grandson. Highly recommend to others. Thanks for a job well done and he said a life changing experience.

First and won't be my last experience

This was my first experience at a Nike Running Camp, and it won't be my last. I'll be a freshman this year, and I'm glad I went this summer because I'll be able to attend three more summers! THANK YOU Coach Rad for an AWESOME running camp!

Best XC camp I've been to

This was the best cross country camp I have ever been to. Coach Rad really knows his stuff and truly cares about everyone. The coaches were able to make this just as much getting better individually as teaching the importance and value of teamwork. The morning runs were amazing along with the counselors and staff. This was overall an excellent camp and I'm so bummed it was my last year able to go! Thanks coach Rad and Kevin, the best counselor out there!

    THANK YOU

Words cannot explain how incredible your camp was this week. It was beyond me how influential your teachings were and how well the camp was run. I am so thankful that I was able to be a part of such an amazing 5 days up at Pepperdine. You are a special coach, and more importantly, an impactful person. You have inspired me to not only become a better runner, but also a better, happier person overall. I know that your advice will carry me far in life. I also wanted to say that I am very interested in running for you and your program. Hopefully, we can keep in touch over the next few months and see how your wisdom helped me throughout the season. I am sure it will yield some major results. Again, thank you for one of the best weeks of my life.

    Life changing experience

Honestly, I expected the Nike Cross Country camp to be fun… but not THIS fun. All summer, I had a countdown on my phone leading up to the day I went to the airport. When I landed at LAX, I met 4 other campers who ended up becoming some of my very close friends. We arrived at camp and the group of 31 campers quickly came together as if we had known each other our whole lives. As I'm going into my senior year, I've still never mastered the mental aspect of running. Nike Running Camp excelled me both physically and mentally to an unimaginable level. The week following camp, I had a huge National Championship Triathlon. Just by using SOME of the skills I learned at camp, I was able to bring myself to a calm, focused state before my race and I was able to keep my mind completely together during my race, which lead me to being named to Team USA. I can't express enough how life changing this camp was for me. It saddens me to think that this was my last opportunity to attend this amazing camp, but I'm excited by the thought of other runners having the amazing opportunity to attend, learn, get stronger, and make amazing friendships at camp like me!

    Absolutely loved it

My daughter absolutely loved this camp. She said it is the best camp ever. She liked it better than the camp she went to last year in Oregon. My daughter LOVED coach Radnoti and Raditude. Malibu is beautiful and the running trails are amazing according to my daughter. The shuttle service from LAX to Pepperdine worked great also. She would return again next year if she could.

    Gained confidence

The Raditude camp was an overall very relaxing and enjoyable experience. If you don't come from the coast, having Malibu beach less then a mile away from you every day, mixed with the beautiful California weather was a dream come true. All of the trails we were taken on were also very different from each other and beautifully showcased the Malibu coast and inland. However, some of my favorite aspects of the camp were Coach Radnoti's visualization and relaxation techniques; I truly left the camp feeling more relaxed and more confident about my goals than ever!

    Amazing Thanks!

Just wanted to say thanks for an absolutely amazing week at camp. We ran on some of the best trails I've ever seen. It was sad leaving such an awesome place. I don't think I've ever met a coach that truly taught about the mechanics of running like you did. I feel like you are truly a running genius. You’re coaching style and enthusiasm for the sport is just so amazing. You're Raditude theory was great. You’re teaching of being a champion and bringing your goals down were really inspirational. I showed my mom the booklet you gave us, and she absolutely loved it. She's always tried to stress that positive ideology in our household. I'll definitely keep on doing all the things I learned at camp, and keep reaching for my goals. Thanks for everything, and thanks for one of the best weeks of running I've ever had!

This camp was definitely a highlight of my summer! Coach Rad taught me a lot of things that will not only benefit me as a runner physically, but mentally as well. After this camp, I can definitely look at this next cross country season with a different outlook than what I had before to help me achieve goals that I WILL reach. Immediately felt at home

I came to Pepperdine not knowing what to expect. Living in Kansas my entire life, this camp was far from home. Upon arriving, I immediately felt "at home." The coaches and campers all treated me like I was part of their running family and the week I experienced through this camp changed my life. It pushed me athletically and socially to limits I had never met prior. Most importantly, I returned home with a much greater appreciation for running both on a physical and spiritual level. Thank you, Nike, for opening up my eyes to a more fulfilling running life!

    Mental and physical

I had the best time at the raditude camp in Malibu! The runs were pretty free form but the trail and other campers pushed you to do your best. The sessions on the mental side of running made it easy to visualize your race and your goal, making you focused on the season ahead of you and ready to do what it takes to be a CHAMPION. The time with the coach was very valued and the camp counselors gave you tips and tricks on how to do college applications and the game of being recruited. All in all the best part was the bond with fellow campers and the beyond beautiful location.

    Received the tools to improve

I loved the Raditude running camp in Pepperdine, and I would definitely recommend it to someone else. I met so many people from around the country and even some from Europe! We ran on great running trails through different parts of Malibu. I learned a lot about running during the Raditude theory sessions. We learned about different techniques and came up with goals for our next cross country season. Coach Rad, the Pepperdine distance coach, is super cool and knows a lot. Also we did good strength-building activities like aqua jogging and medicine ball exercises. Overall this was an amazing camp and I definitely received the tools to improve, become a better runner, and achieve my goals.

    One of the best camps

Camp Nike Raditude is one of the best running camps I've ever gone to. Meeting people from all over is amazing and you learn about other runners styles. What makes camp so different from the others is the view you see while you're running and especially the mental part to running.
