FULL DAY CAMPS (AGES 8-12)
The full day camp will focus mainly on golf skills with motor skill activities used when necessary. This program is presented in a way that will be fun and engaging by using visual aids, special golf equipment and learning aids. Through team activities the young golfer will gain a sense of being part of a team. And through the use of incremental goals, each child will leave with a feeling of accomplishment.
All aspects of the game will be learned through a combination of skill stations and fun group skill games & activities. The goal of the first half of each week is to prepare the young golfer for the golf course. The golfers will be taken onto the course on Thursday and Friday.
HALF DAY CAMPS (AGES 5-9)
The Half Day Camp is progressive and will incorporate both the use of fundamental athletic movement skills as well as golf skills. The first half of the day will focus on athletic motor skills, focusing on learning the kinematic sequence through FUNdamental movement stations. We will then transition into golf skills during the second half of the day. Rules, etiquette and terminology will be taught at the end of each day through fun crafts, games and activities.
As is with the full day camp, the camp is presented in a way that will be fun and engaging by using multiple visual aids, special golf equipment and learning aids. Through team activities the young golfer will gain a sense of being part of a team. And through the use of incremental goals each child will leave with a feeling of accomplishment. The half day program does not include lunch.
