Improve your game this summer at our junior golf camps on Long Island, NY held at the renowned Bethpage State Park. Join Camp Director and Golf Channel Academy Coach, Kelley Brooke, for a week of top-notch golf instruction and fun!
HALF DAY CAMPS
Our five-day, half day golf camps strive to create the optimal learning and training environment for junior golfers to reach their full potential. The juniors are immersed in an atmosphere where the game’s basic fundamentals are incorporated into the curriculum each day. We combine Kelley Brooke’s swing method with chipping, putting, pitching, full swing and rules/etiquette. The end of the week includes a golf tournament where the kids show off their new found skills.This program runs from 9:00am - 12:00pm daily and is open to golfers ages 9-13.
FULL DAY CAMPS
Full day camps are designed to help players improve their technical skills and results on the golf course. Players in the full day camp begin with three hours of morning instruction followed by lunch. After lunch, players will get to practice their newly acquired skills during afternoon course play. The camp staff will accompany the groups to provide supervision as well as course strategy and scoring tips. This program runs from 9:00am - 4:00pm daily and is open to golfers of all skill levels ages 9-13.

Camp Director Kelley Brooke
Kelley (LPGA certified professional) is the owner and director of instruction of the Golf Channel Academy with Kelley Brooke, with four locations in the New York metropolitan area (Bethpage, Manhattan, Brooklyn and Staten Island).View Kelley's Bio & Golf Tips ⟩
A protégé of Butch Harmon, as well as Craig Bunker at the John Jacobs’ Golf Schools, Kelley has spent the last 37 years in the golf industry as a player, teaching professional and golf facility owner.
Over the past 23 years, she’s done much to change the face of golf in the New York City metropolitan area. In addition to giving more than 40,000 golf lessons, Kelley formed the not-for-profit NYC Junior Golf Club, Inc., the Police Athletic League Golf Program and conducting hundreds of Golf Clinics and Golf Schools. She also developed a “Fit for Life” program for children with disabilities, providing thousands of children with disabilities throughout the five boroughs an opportunity to play the game. In 2010, the NYC Mayor’s Office and Commission on Women’s Issues selected Kelley as a woman who has a made a difference during “Women in History Month.”
A Golf Range Magazine "Top 50 Golf Instructor", Kelley has hosted several golf television shows on cable, most recently “Golfing NYC Style” and “The 19th Hole.” She’s also made guest appearances as a golf expert on The Travel Channel’s “Hotel Impossible,” and written for many golf periodicals, including Golf Digest and Junior Golf.
An accomplished player before joining the teaching ranks, Kelley won an individual state championship in high school (Iowa) and earned All-Big 10 honors at the University of Iowa. Kelley also represented the United States as a member of the University World Cup Team. As a high-schooler, she qualified twice for the LPGA Rail Charity Classic. She also competed professionally on the former Futures Tour and Players West Tour.

At Golf Channel Academy Junior Camps with Kelley Brooke, our coaches provide all of the skills necessary for golf improvement. Our staff of experienced coaches use video analysis and the latest in teaching aids. All campers are evaluated on the first day to ensure they receive the appropriate instruction and training throughout the week. A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact info, and a list of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the spring.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 9:00am Registration and overview of daily schedule
- 9:15am Golf fitness warm-up
- 9:30am Instructional groups - campers rotate stations working on putting, chipping, full swing
- 10:30am Snack break
- 10:45am Instructional groups
- 12:00pm Half Day Campers depart. Full Day Campers eat lunch.
- 1:00pm Course play under staff supervision
- 4:00pm Full Day Campers check-out

Bethpage State Park, a mecca for public golf featuring five 18-hole regulation golf courses including the world-renowned Black Course which was the site of the United States Open in 2002 and 2009.
