OKLAHOMA OVERNIGHT BASKETBALL CAMP
NBC Basketball is excited to come to Oklahoma City at will be hosting camp at Southern Nazarene University located northwest in Bethany near Edmond this summer. These camps are perfect for players hoping to be challenged in a fun, encouraging, and intense atmosphere. Led by top-notch NBC coaching staff, campers will work on skill development, full-court gameplay, sportsmanship, teamwork, and leadership. NBC stands for Nothing Beats Commitment and has been running camps since 1971. Camps focus on confidence, goal setting, mental toughness, leadership, intensity, athletic and life skill mastery, the importance of personal faith, and Christian values of integrity, compassion, and excellence. Camp Details
This camp will be a Complete Player Basketball Camp that will focus on all aspects of the game from beginner to advanced.
2025 Oklahoma Basketball Camp
Boys Complete Player Basketball Camps
Dates: June 23-26 | Age Group: Boys 12-18 years old
Daily Times: Check-in at 12:00 pm and ends June 26 at 4 pm.
Housing is two to a room and students will be paired with a friend (request any time before camp) or matched with a student of similar age. The coaching ratio and supervision are 10 to 1.
Extended Day (students attend camp from early in the morning until late in the evening but go home instead of sleeping in the dorms. They also eat breakfast at home. Only recommended for students who live less than 30 minutes from the camp.)
CAMP DESCRIPTIONS
Complete Player Camp
These camps offer training in all aspects of the sport including leadership and confidence training. NBC's Complete Player basketball curriculum is all-encompassing to help athletes develop and master skills to play the game of basketball with excellence. Complete Player Camps offer overnight (complete program training) and extended day options for those who commute to and from camp each morning and evening. NBC Basketball Overnight camps are rigorous.
Sample Daily Schedule
- 7:00 am Wake Up
- 7:30 am Breakfast
- 8:00 am Ball Handling
- 9:00 am AM Session: full court transition, post and guard stations, shooting stations, 5 man motion offense, inbound plays/ games and tournaments
- 12:00 pm Lunch
- 1:30 pm PM Session: offensive attack moves, defensive positioning, court awareness/ 3v3 and 5v5 games
- 5:00 pm Dinner
- 6:30 pm Evening Program and Leadership Groups
- 8:00 pm Night Basketball Event
- 10:00 pm Lights Out
ABOUT THE CAMPUS
Southern Nazarene University is located northwest of Oklahoma City in Bethany near by Edmond. Students are housed in on-campus dorms, eat in the cafeteria and compete in the gym.
Food sample:
Hamburgers, pizza, salad bar, all you can drink juice, soda, milk, dessert option. Great dining options and hotels close by for parents who want to stay nearby.
College Gym, nice floor, and air-conditioned.
