Nike Soccer Camps announces our newest location for the summer of 2019, Mount St. Joseph University in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The Mount St. Joseph staff has designed a fun, challenging program, designed to develop each camper into a more skillful soccer player. Players of all skill levels are invited to attend and will be grouped by age and ability. Our coaches pride themselves on teaching the fundamentals of the game, while promoting a fun atmosphere.

Head Coach Josh Hess
Josh Hess returns for his sixth season in 2018-2019 as head coach of the women's soccer team at the College. Hess, the fourth head coach in the school’s history came to the Mount from Division III Capital University, where he was an assistant coach and head Junior Varsity coach for the Crusader’s men’s program last fall. Prior to that, Hess was the head men’s and women’s soccer coach at Pearl River Community College (Poplarville, Mississippi) from 2007-2009. He was also the assistant men’s and women’s soccer coach at Pearl River Community College, from 2006-2007.View Josh's Bio ⟩
Hess also has club soccer experience as well, as a technical director/coach/club trainer for CUSA Courage this past season; a club trainer for Kings Soccer Academy from 2009-2011; and a staff coach for Gulf Coast United Footbal Club from 2007-2009. He has Olympic Development Experience as a Staff Coach, and has participated in the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association, Mississippi Youth Soccer Association, and Ohio South Youth Soccer Association.
He is currently a member of the Kentucky Youth Soccer Association Women’s ODP program as the Head Coach for the 1999 age group. He was a member of the Boys 1991 Coaching Staff for Mississippi Youth Soccer and from 2004-2006. Hess also participated as a staff coach for Ohio Youth Soccer Association ODP program from 2003-2004.
In addition, he has camp experience as a Staff Coach for the Ohio South Youth Soccer Association (2011 – 2012), and teaching experience on the OSYSA Coaching Education Staff (Ohio South Youth Soccer Association) since 2009; on the KYSA Coaching Education Staff (Kentucky Youth Soccer Association) since 2009; and as an instructor at Pearl River Community College, from 2006-2008.
Coach Hess played collegially at Mt. Vernon Nazarene University and at Fredonia State University. He has a bachelor of art’s degree in Sports Medicine from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, and a master’s degree in Accounting from the University of Cincinnati.
He holds licenses and certificates of: USSF B License, NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, USSF National Youth License, and CPR/First Aid (American Heart Association).

The objective of this program is to develop each camper into a more skillful soccer player while promoting a fun atmosphere. Players of all levels improve their skills through dynamic activities and games in a stimulating environment. Groups are organized by age and ability for all coaching sessions during the camp. There are be both men and women's staff members coaching during camp to help be role models to all of the boys and girls at camp. This camp’s main emphasis is learning through FUN. All campers are taught the fundamental skills of the game such as passing & receiving, shooting, and dribbling skills.
Our staff consists of the coaching staff here at Mount St. Joseph University as well as several of our current and former players. We hold camp rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, during drop-off or pick-up, staff members direct you to the proper training facility.
What's included in the fee?
Overnight campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
Extended Day campers (9am-8pm - except on ﬁrst and last day): Lunch and dinner are provided.
24-hour supervision is an important feature of every NIKE Soccer Camp. Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.

The staff live in the dormitories with the campers and participate in evening activities. Drugs, alcohol and tobacco are strictly prohibited, and constitute, along with general misconduct, grounds for dismissal from camp without a refund.
If five or more campers register together, each camper is eligible for a $30 discount. Please have a team contact reach out directly to the USSC office at 1-800-645-3226 to receive a discount code to identify your group. Campers may then register through the website at their convenience and apply the coupon code during check-out.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring is emailed to all registered campers. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and are collected on the first day of camp.
Transportation is not provided by the camp.

The Sports complex is home to the Mount's football and men's and women's soccer teams. The cross country, track & field and lacrosse teams also compete at the complex. Student-athletes compete on a new all-weather surface and on the new synthetic all-weather, eight-lane track surrounding the field. The complex is on the east side of campus, and has concessions, locker rooms, showers, equipment storage, and facilities for athletic training.
