She's gotten faster and more precise

July 14, 2018: My child was feeling discouraged about her tennis server and the coaches took time out for her to really focused on how to toss the ball in front of her. She was able to spend a lot of time working on her server and the glow from her smile while talking about how she’s gotten faster and more precise on her serve was the best thing she was able to take away. The staff was wonderful and they did a great job recognizing my kids birthday while she was away from home. The facilities were safe, clean and nicely setup. My kid is a single player and she wishes that there were more instructions on how to perfect her singles match. She didn’t benefit much from the doubles instructions but now she knows just in case she plays doubles in high school.

    Improved sportsmanship

July 14, 2018: More important than any technical skills my son picked up, was clearly - improved sportsmanship. Shaking hands after a loss used to be nearly impossible for him to do. I saw him do it twice - without prompting- at his final matches, and I couldn't have been more thrilled!!!More shade at graduation would be very welcome! :)

Enjoyed the one on one time

July 19, 2017: Her favorite part of camp was shot of the night. She really enjoyed having more one on one time with the counselors in a smaller group at night tennis.

    Developed self-confidence

July 19, 2017: Evelyn developed great self-confidence about the game and her abilities as a result of the camp. She enjoyed the people she met and the staff. The only area of feedback came from Evelyn about the food. I have no idea what the menu was! However, she thought the selection of pizza and pasta could have been mixed up with more choices.

The kids felt that they improved on their game

July 20, 2017: The kids thought the staff was kind, passionate about tennis and willing to work with them on their game during camp hours as well as off hours. The kids felt like the focus on tennis never waivered--and that they improved their game as a result.

    camp was wonderful

July 27, 2016: Everything about the camp was wonderful. Great staff, tons of tennis, good location. The only comment I have was that the schedule online and the schedule I received the first day of camp were not the same. Being a day camper, this made some unnecessary confusion that I feel could be fixed easily.

    tennis instruction is amazing

7/23/2015 - Staff are great as always. I feel so bad every time I see a counselor sitting out in the rain on sidewalk duty making sure kids are safe crossing the road. That said I am glad they are there and that the camp has safety precautions in place. I have participated in this camp for 7 years. This was the first year I invited someone I knew outside of camp, and she really enjoyed it. The tennis instruction is amazing and provides a strategic as well as a physical advancement of a player's game. Thank you!
