The Nike Soccer Camp at Niagara University offers young players across the Niagara Frontier and Western New York the opportunity to train in a high-energy, supportive environment inspired by collegiate soccer standards. Hosted on the scenic campus just minutes from Niagara Falls, this day camp blends technical development with confidence-building play.

Led by Niagara University women’s assistant coach Kendrick Tarmino, campers will be guided through age-appropriate training sessions that emphasize ball mastery, decision-making, and a love for the game. Designed for all skill levels, the camp delivers structured yet engaging training sessions that help young athletes grow at their own pace. Campers train under the guidance of collegiate coaches and players, gaining exposure to collegiate-level coaching methods adapted specifically for youth players.

    Assistant Women's Soccer Coach - Niagra University

    Kendrick Tarmino joined Niagara University as assistant coach and first assistant under head coach Donny George in January 2025. Tarmino plays a pivotal role in all facets of the women’s soccer program, serving as camp coordinator and recruiting coordinator while contributing to on-field coaching, player development, and strategic planning

    “Kendrick’s leadership as my captain at St. Bonaventure and her seamless transition to coaching reflect her exceptional talent and dedication,” said head coach Donny George. “Her ability to connect with players and drive our recruiting efforts will transform our program.”

    Tarmino served as an assistant coach under George at St. Bonaventure University during the 2024 season, her first coaching role, which George offered her after she earned her master’s degree.

    A 2023 St. Bonaventure graduate, Tarmino was a cornerstone of the Bonnies’ women’s soccer program, appearing in 74 games from 2019 to 2023 and logging over 6,500 minutes. As team captain in 2023, she showcased outstanding leadership, guiding the team through a competitive Atlantic 10 season.

    A native of Fairport, N.Y., Tarmino brings extensive experience from youth development camps, both in her hometown and during her time at St. Bonaventure, enhancing her role as Niagara’s camp coordinator.

    She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from St. Bonaventure, blending academic rigor with her coaching expertise.

    Having followed George from St. Bonaventure to Niagara, Tarmino’s deep understanding of his coaching philosophy, combined with her proven leadership and recruiting acumen, positions her to make a significant impact on the Purple Eagles in 2025.

  • Half-Day Hours: 9:00am-12:00pm

  • Full-Day Hours: 9:00am-3:00pm

  • Full Day & Half Day Check-in & out Locations: Niagara Soccer Field
  • Meals: Lunch is NOT provided. Please bring a packed lunch

SKILL LEVEL

This camp provides an exciting and engaging soccer experience for players of all skill levels, from those developing players building their foundation to advanced athletes preparing for the next level. Through a mix of dynamic drills, competitive games, and skill-focused training, campers will develop their technical, tactical, physical, and mental abilities—all while having fun! Led by passionate and experienced coaches, each session is designed to maximize player development in a supportive environment that builds confidence, fosters growth, and inspires a lifelong love for the game.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?

  • Instruction: Training from the Niagara University Women's Soccer Staff coaching staff

  • Day campers: Lunch or snacks are not provided. Please bring a packed lunch. There will be a water station available to fill up and stay hydrated

  • Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities

  • Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camp t-shirt

INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY

  • Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio

  • Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience

  • Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.

  • Facility: Niagara Soccer Field

  • Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital

CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

MEDICAL PROTOCOL

Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
