The recipient of the IMG award for most successful club in the nation for moving players to the next level of play, the San Diego Surf Soccer Club is proud to be San Diego’s Premier competitive soccer club. They are a member of the ECNL– for boys and girls. These two leagues represent the highest level of youth soccer competition in the United States with the goal of producing the next generation of National team players.

Billy Garton is a former professional player with a decade-long career at Manchester United, where he played under the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson. He also played professionally for Birmingham City before transitioning into coaching, where he served as head coach and manager at three professional clubs in England.

Head Coach, Girls Andy Brookfield
Andy Brookfield is the Head Coach for Girls at San Diego Rush and brings a wealth of experience and education to his role. He holds a USSF B Youth License, Level 2 Coaching Football accreditation from the English FA, and a BSc (Hons) in Sports Science and Management from Nottingham Trent University.

Half-Day Hours: 9am-12pm
Full-Day Hours: 9am-3pm

CAMP PROGRAM
This camp provides an exciting and engaging soccer experience for players of all skill levels, from those developing players building their foundation to advanced athletes preparing for the next level. Through a mix of dynamic drills, competitive games, and skill-focused training, campers will develop their technical, tactical, physical, and mental abilities—all while having fun! Led by passionate and experienced coaches, each session is designed to maximize player development in a supportive environment that builds confidence, fosters growth, and inspires a lifelong love for the game.

WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
Instruction: Training from the Surf coaching staff
Day campers: Lunch or snacks are not provided. Please bring a packed lunch. There will be a water station available to fill up and stay hydrated
Supervision: Staff members are strategically placed throughout the camp to provide optimal supervision and participate in all activities
Camp T-shirt: All campers receive a Nike Soccer Camp t-shirt
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT, & FACILITY
Ratio: Low camper-to-coach ratio
Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience
Equipment Needed: All campers must bring soccer cleats, shin guards, athletic shoes, and a water bottle.
Facility: Surf Sports Park
Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital
CHECKLIST OF THINGS TO BRING:
Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.
- Athletic clothing
- Soccer Cleats (no metal studs)
- Shin guards
- Water bottle
- Sunblock
- Packed lunch and snacks
- Small gym bag/backpack
SOCCER BALLS
Nike Soccer Camp Balls can be purchased during registration. Players can choose between a size 3, 4 or 5 ball, which will be shipped out before camp. Shipping is included in the listed price. Please note that it is not required to bring a soccer ball to camp as they are provided by the staff for camp instruction. All sales are final.
TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.
MEDICAL PROTOCOL
Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.
