The coaching curriculum is designed and delivered by Chelsea FC Foundation. Students gain an insight into life as a young professional at Chelsea Football Club with daily football training including technical mastery, skills development and structured match play. Coaches join English teachers to host workshops and seminars to support the practical football training, with sessions on sports science, nutrition and match preparation. Students also participate in weekly training sessions at Chelsea FC’s Training Center in Cobham, as well as enhancing their learning with additional workshops and Q&A sessions from special guests.
Students are grouped by age and ability with a maximum group-size of 16, an average of 14. All students get an individual coach assessment and development plan to take home.
SPECIALIST TRAINING WEEKS:
Girls aged 12-17: 15th and 22nd July
A special all-girls training program drawing on the incredible success of the Chelsea Women’s team. Players will be coached by female coaches and learn what it’s like to be a Chelsea professional using the same coaching techniques and expertise as the boys program.
Goalkeepers aged 12-17: 15th and 22nd July
Specialist goalkeeper coaches will deliver an exclusive goalkeeping program where players focus on specific skills for their position. Goalkeepers are also welcome to join the standard program on any other week.
English lessons are taken daily, in the morning or afternoon. Our professional native-level English teachers use highly accurate tests to ensure students are divided into the correct CEFR levels within their age group, ranging from A1 to C2 (beginner to advanced). The course uses the popular CLIL approach used in top schools worldwide, enabling students to integrate their learning into the day-to-day life of the camp. Lessons include general English and football-specific English, with students practicing verbal communication, reading and writing skills in fun and interactive ways.
The average class size is 12 students, with a maximum of 14. Students receive detailed English progress reports each week and advice on how to improve English skills after the camp.
Cobham Training Center (every week)
Students train on the pitches with their coaches at Chelsea FC’s First Team training center. As well as training, the trip is enhanced with workshops and Q&As from special guests.
Stamford Bridge (every Saturday)
Students take a trip to Chelsea FC’s iconic stadium in London for a behind-the-scenes tour and a visit to the museum, where they will learn about the evolution of the club. In their final week of camp, players will enjoy an end-of-camp celebration at the stadium, including prize-giving and a special guest speaker.
London (13-night camps only)
A visit to Niketown on Oxford street starts the tour, including exploring the celebrated football section. Players will then embark on a guided walking tour of London’s iconic landmarks such as Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.

The school’s rich sporting history includes having a great influence on making football the game it is today.
