• The coaching staff was wonderful with my two boys --they helped build their self-esteem and the boys were VERY happy after each session. It was a terrific experience and we would for SURE do it again!
• Sarah enjoyed the organization of the camp. She was able to go from station to station and practice specific skills. She received encouragement from the coaches and they made her feel confident. She learned how to correct some habits she had picked up from playing at the park. Overall, in just two sessions, Sarah is a better player!

Coach Ben Maxwell and his Player One team of coaches did an amazing job at coaching this week, we will definitely come back for Player One Nike Soccer Camp! We also appreciate that the coaches would take the time to re-apply sunscreen on our kids mid-day. It showed how much they cared for the well being of our kids.
• Peyton enjoyed every aspect of the camp but the highlight was the World Cup competition. She had to leave early on the last day and she was bummed she couldn’t stay until the end. Great job by you and the other coaches.

We have experienced many coaches in our playing careers and in our three children's various sports, and have yet to be as impressed as we are with coach Ben. His camps are incredibly organized, detail oriented, and he creates an atmosphere that the kids will thoroughly enjoy. If your searching for the perfect camp for you son or daughter to grow not only as a player but as a person, look no further!
• Our son has trained with Ben Maxwell in various capacities over the past two years. Ben is able to quickly identify a player's strengths and weaknesses, and provides specific and customized sessions to address a player's needs. Further, he is a coach that cares about each player, and connects on a personal level. Our son loves training with Coach Ben and has grown significantly as a soccer player.
• Ben's camps are great! They are extremely structured and help players develop. The camps are not only helpful physically, they also help the players mentally. I have learned a lot from his camps.

• My sons both train with Ben. His Player One Soccer Programs are elite, the best of the best. They've been transformed both of my kids. Both started at the rec level and got a late start to competitive soccer. We were worried that it would be tough to catch up. Now they are both on the starting teams on some of the top club teams in the Bay Area. Ben saw the work ethic in my kids, and he understood their style of play, and has worked with them to bring out the very best. When you see coach Ben and his staff, you understand he doesn't deliver your standard soccer training. He gets the kids to love the game, work harder than they thought they could, and get the most out of every minute. My kids look forward to learning from Ben and his staff. It's the highlight of the year for them. There is a reason that kids drive 2 or 3 hours away to attend these programs. Finally, there is a camp that is personalized around the player.
• Coach Ben’s soccer camps are the best! We have three boys who play at a very high level of competitive soccer and they just love his camps. We drop them off in the morning on the way to work (yes, Ben’s there nice and early). When we pick them up all they can talk about on the way home is who won, or who did this, and did you see that! We would definitely recommend these camps!
• Extremely well ran Camp, the facility and coaching staff were exceptional. My son asked me to please send him to another week of camp after he completed the 1st week. So I did. Paired/Playing with other skilled players. It was great for him to play against older kids to challenge him. Really hard to improve on such a great camp. The environment created by Ben Maxwell and his staff truly promote the game of soccer for all.
• Ben Maxwell is a rare talent in the coaching world. What he has been developed in my son is beyond soccer. Ben's passion has cultivated soccer character, which includes enormous confidence, world-class skills, and a big game personality. When my son began training with Ben, he was timid, uncertain, and afraid to make mistakes. I can honestly say he has transformed into a fearless force to be reckoned with on (and off) the field. I will always be grateful for the point of inspiration Ben has been for my son.
• Getting the Player Evaluation was truly fantastic... Having written feedback to continue to grow and strive to improve skills is beyond helpful. This is the first time we have ever received anything like this and we are so grateful. Ben's passion for soccer and his gift for reaching kids as a coach is the best I have ever seen. He genuinely invests in the kids and brings out the best in them while working on their areas for improvement in a personalized way. We will definitely be back! With friends!
• Coach Ben was awesome! He was always positive with the boys, complimenting them as they did drills, but also encouraging them to push harder and grow more as players. I've never seen such high level coaching at a camp before. He really connects with each kid.
• My daughter learned to take open space when dribbling and get better with her left foot. She really enjoyed the camp and she says she feels like she got a lot better!
• So happy I finally found a camp that meets my kid's needs. Having an elite player, it's been difficult to find a camp that is both challenging and fun. Coach Ben finds ways to challenge my son to improve every aspect of his game, but always in an encouraging way. And this camp had other top level players, so my son had good competition. We will definitely do more Player One Soccer camps!
• Ben coached my daughter for several years, developing her from a talented but raw rec player, to a top player in one of the top clubs in the country. During tryouts the first time he saw her play when she was 9, he immediately recognized her athletic ability, looked past her skills deficiencies, and offered her a spot on his team. Throughout the years he coached her, he taught her world-class skills that helped harness her athletic ability, allowing her to move up several levels in a short period of time. She is now a high-school player, contemplating collegiate play. He also worked hard on developing her aggressiveness on the ball, and importantly for young girls, gave her confidence as a player and as a person. He is incredibly supportive of players, giving feedback in a very direct but constructive manner, taking the game seriously but lending levity and fun to each practice. I cannot recommend him enough as a coach your child will learn from and never forget.

• My son said the coaches are very kind and friendly. he didn’t have a friend at the camp so at rest time couple of coaches made a sure to check on him if he is doing good. That is very kind of them.
