Train like a professional at our Ohio volleyball camp. Experience life as a SPIRE Academy student athlete with daily training sessions on the court and Performance Training with the SPIRE Performance Team. Our experienced coaching staff will work with you to focus on individual skills necessary to play at the highest levels of volleyball. Off the court, we will develop a training plan that will bring strength, speed and agility to your game. This camp is a perfect fit for international athletes or those traveling a long distance. 2025 EXTENDED TRAINING CAMP
- 3 Week Programs: June 8-27 | July 6-28
- 2 Week Programs: July 13-25

- Daily Schedule: 9:00am-4:00pm each day
- Meals: All meals are provided to Boarding campers. Day (commuter) campers only receive lunch. Allergies and dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
- Program: SPIRE Academy’s Volleyball Summer Extended Training Camps provide athletes with an immersive, high-level training experience designed to take their game to the next level. Led by SPIRE’s expert coaching staff, these camps offer daily, intensive training sessions focused on key volleyball skills, including serving, passing, setting, hitting, blocking, and defensive techniques. Each session is tailored to the skill level and goals of the athletes, helping them refine their technique and elevate their overall performance.
In addition to technical skill development, the camp includes strength and conditioning sessions to improve power, agility, and endurance on the court. Athletes will also participate in competitive drills, scrimmages, and team-building activities, fostering both individual and group growth. The program balances rigorous training with fun, interactive activities and off-site excursions, ensuring a well-rounded experience. By the end of the camp, players will leave with improved skills, stronger teamwork, and the confidence to excel in their upcoming season. - Campers Receive:

SPIRE Academy’s Volleyball Elite Position Camps offer advanced, specialized training for dedicated players looking to master their position on the court. These high- level camps are designed for serious athletes who want to develop technical expertise and strategic understanding in their specific role, under the guidance of SPIRE’s experienced coaches. Each camp focuses on the core skills, positioning, and game intelligence required to excel in elite-level competition. Each SPIRE Elite Position Camp is designed to develop advanced skills in a position-specific environment, empowering players to become leaders on the court and elevate their performance in every game.
- Back Row Camp: Back row players will dive into the skills needed for strong defensive play, including digging, blocking, positioning, and reading the offense. Emphasis is placed on footwork, agility, and precise movement to cover the court effectively.
- Setter Camp: Setters will work intensively on hand positioning, footwork, timing, and decision-making to lead the offense. This camp covers key strategies to improve court vision, enhance ball control, and make quick, strategic choices for setting up successful plays.
- Spiker Camp: Spikers will focus on the mechanics of powerful, accurate hitting, approach techniques, timing, and blocking. This camp hones in on both offensive and defensive skills, helping players execute high-impact plays while reading blockers and adjusting mid-play.
- Libero Camp: Liberos will receive focused training on advanced digging, passing, serve-receive, and communication strategies to command the back row. Coaches will provide insights on reading opponents’ attacks and staying poised under pressure, preparing players to be the anchor of their team’s defense.

2025 HOUSING
The information below is subject to change each year.
- Dorm Name: SPIRE Village
- Number of Campers Per Room: 2 per room.
- Roommates: Rooms are assigned by age & roommate requests. Roommate requests must be mutual and received no later than 14 days before the start of camp. If you don't have a roommate request, you will be placed in a room with someone near your age. It will be a great opportunity to meet someone new!
- Bathrooms: Shared, attached to each room.
- Linens: Not included. Bring linens or sleeping bag, pillow, pillowcase, and a towel.
- Air Conditioning: Yes
WHAT'S INCLUDED IN THE FEE?
- Instruction: Morning and afternoon training sessions
- Boarding Campers: Dormitory housing on campus and all meals are provided.
- Day Campers: Lunch is provided.
- Supervision: Staff members reside in campers’ quarters and participate in all activities.
- Camp T-shirt: Campers will receive a SPIRE t-shirt.
INSTRUCTION, EQUIPMENT & FACILITY
- Groupings: Campers are grouped by age, ability, and experience per the Director’s discretion
- Equipment Needed: Players should supply their own kneepads and have at least one pair of well broken-in volleyball (court) shoes. Campers do not need to bring their own balls.
- Facility: Indoor courts
- Medical Protocol: Most camps have an athletic trainer on-site to help with illness or injury. In case of an emergency, campers will be transported to the nearest hospital.

Below is a suggested list of clothes, equipment, and personal items. US Sports Camps is NOT responsible for lost or stolen articles or money.

TRANSPORTATION
Transportation is not provided. Campers are responsible for getting to and from camp on their own. There is no supervision before or after camp hours so please make arrangements to pick up your child on time.

Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

Camp Questions & Answers
Can I sign up for more than 1 session/program?
Absolutely! Campers are encouraged to attend multiple sessions. Each program delivers something unique to help players excel in all areas of the game. Many campers will attend more than one session to further refine their skills, compete against new players, or choose a session with a different program focus.
