US Sports Camps is pleased to present Reggie Brown once again this summer as Director of Nike Basketball Camp at the Southside YMCA. Coach Brown and his staff have built a strong reputation over the past few summers for running a high energy basketball camp focused on skill development and competition. Coach Brown has also supplemented his coaching with an array of professional players as guest speakers. Camp will run from August 9-12, 2014.
Reggie Brown will direct a week of camp for all players looking to seriously get better this summer! Coach Brown will use his intimate knowledge of the NBA and College game to design 5 days of drills and games to take your game to the next level. Having conducted individual workouts for several NBA lottery picks, Coach Brown knows how to develop weaknesses, enhance strengths and help you take that next step in your game.

Reggie Brown is known throughout the NBA and college basketball world for his eye for talent and ability to develop this talent through intense, skill development workouts. Prior to training NBA lottery picks, Brown coached NCAA college basketball for six years and became an expert in player development at all positions. Reggie graduated from Mississippi Valley State with a Bachelor's degree in physical education and secondary education. Reggie also earned a Master's degree in pedagogy from South Dakota State University. He resides in Chicago, Illinois.
Complete Skills: This program is intended to help players develop athletically. The individual camp is a great opportunity for young basketball players looking to develop and refine their fundamental basketball skills. This program also includes a curriculum for intermediate/ advanced players looking to enhance their skill set at the post, wing, or guard position. Emphasis is placed on fundamental development, shooting, offensive moves, defense, rebounding, team play, and more.
Upon arrival, all players are evaluated by the staff so that their own instructional needs can be addressed throughout the week. Players will be grouped by age and ability.

- 11:30 Guest Speaker (NBA player, coach, personnel)

Parents are invited to attend the closing ceremony of camp.
Lunch is not included. Please bring your own lunch. We will also have a concession stand open for snacks and drinks.
A detailed camper registration packet containing check in location, health/release forms, emergency contact numbers, and a checklist of things to bring will be emailed to all registered campers in the spring. The US Sports Camps health and release forms do not require a doctor's signature and they will be collected on the first day of camp. Campers must bring their health and release forms with them to check-in on the first day of camp.
